Bozena Chambers is a mental health clinician/ mental health social worker with nearly three decades of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through complex emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges. Her approach is calm, practical, and deeply client-centred, with specialised expertise in EMDR therapy, mediation, and individual counselling and therapy services. Each session is tailored to your needs, creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and grounded.

What to expectDuring the initial consultation, I will seek an understanding of your goals and expectations for therapy. I will work with you to help you gain an understanding of the difficulties that you are experiencing and generate a flexible treatment plan that will help move you towards your goals.
Your wellbeing is my priority. My initial goal is to help provide support and relief, then, as the sessions progress, we will work through various different techniques to give you the tools, skills and strategies to help you move towards a happier and more contented way of life.
Counselling and Therapy Sessions
Therapy sessions typically run for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Appointments are available face-to-face at the practice locations or via video counselling (Teams) if you are unable to attend in person.

How Medicare access works
With a referral from your GP or psychiatrist, you may be eligible for a Mental Health Plan - which entitles you to up to 10 individual therapy sessions per calendar year that attract a Medicare rebate.
Check with your GP to see if you're eligible. Once you have your plan, Bozena will take care of the rest. Pension cardholders pay a minimal gap fee only.

Private and Medicare Patients
As an accredited Mental Health Clinician, I can help you as a private patient or through the Medicare system with a referral from a GP or psychiatrist. Medicare patients can usually access my services as part of a Mental Health Plan. A Mental Health Plan enables patients to get up to 10 therapy sessions per calendar year which attract a Medicare rebate. Check with your GP to see if you are eligible for a Mental Health Plan.
